PROJECT BACKGROUND
Why rehabilitation and improvement?
The R.C. Lawson Institute was established and built in December 1979, by some dedicated, God fearing and loving American missionaries who spent a portion of their lives here in Liberia working to provide a quality and affordable education for Liberian children.

The
Liberian civil crisis ran these missionaries out this country in 1990.
since then, the building has suffered from damaged roof, a lack of good
cafeteria, no auditorium for the student's activities, the lack of
electricity, etc. Due to this the current administration of the R.C.
Lawson Institute is inviting all individuals, institutions, and
organizations who may be willing to help to restore the school to a
better and decent learning environment, to please come quickly to help
our institution so as to give the Liberian children a hope a quality and
affordable education.
